Council Member Kathyrn Freed's Bill to Legalize Ferrets
What to do if your Council Member voted "Yes"

My Council Member Voted Yes

Now what do I do?

If your Council Member voted "yes", at the May 9th vote, we need that vote to STAY a "yes vote". It's really important that you write to your Council Member (if you haven't already done so), and thank them for voting in favor of legalizing ferrets at the May 9th vote. Let them know that you appreciate the work they're doing on your behalf and that you hope they will continue to support the legalization of ferrets in NYC.

If you've already sent them a letter thanking them and asking for their continued support in the future, there's nothing more you can do right now except to help Kathryn get on the ballot for Public Advocate. We only have until July 10th to do this. Kathryn Freed is the sponsor of our bill to legalize ferrets and it's important for us to keep her in office, especially if our bill doesn't pass this year.
