Find out the name of YOUR Local Council Member

If YOUR local Council Member is listed below it's important that you contact us as soon as possible. Everyone else, please write the people below a respectful letter expressing your disappointment that they did not vote "Yes" on Intro 627-A, and let them know that you hope they'll reconsider and support legalizing ferrets in the future. (You can write one letter and send copies to each person below). Find anyone else you know in their district (neighbors, family) and ask them to write similar letters and make calls as well. Anyone in NYC can write to these Council Members, but letters from people in their district will carry more weight.

Once again, and we cannot stress this enough, it is acceptable to express your disappointment about a Council Member not voting in favor of our bill, but DO NOT insult, harass or express any hostility towards any of the people listed below. NO ONE will respond favorably to hostility or insults. Remember, we need some of these people to change their votes to "yes" within the next month, so PLEASE DO NOT alienate these Council Members!
