Who To Write

Find your Council Member's name and address below. They're listed by district. You don't have to worry about the other 50 names, just look at the Council Member for your district. (If you don't know who the Council Member is for your District -or even what a District is!- go here.)

Let your Council Member know that you're a member of their district. Tell them briefly that the legalization of ferrets in NYC is an important issue to you and that you hope they'll support future bills to re-legalize ferrets in NYC's five boroughs. If your Council Member is listed below as someone who already supports ferret legalization, thank them for their support and let them know that's why you voted for them!

Writing your Council Member will only take a few moments and will keep the "ferret issue" alive in their minds. The better you get to know your Council Members now, the easier it will be to work with them later on.

* It's not as important to write to the other politicians just yet, but we've included their addresses in case you'd like to drop them a quick note too. REMEMBER to always be friendly and respectful no matter what a politician's current position is on ferret legalization.
